Rachelle Freedman

Theatre Teacher

Rachelle is a theatre educator, director, and actress dedicated to nurturing creativity, self-expression, and confidence in children through the performing arts. Before making Aliyah in 2024, she taught drama and directed productions at Jewish schools and arts programs across the United States, including as a founding writer and director of The Miracle Project, an inclusive theatre program featured in the award-winning documentary Autism: The Musical. Rachelle holds a B.A. in Theatre from Georgia State University and continues to teach and direct theatre for young people in Israel.

Amichai is a nonprofit bilingual Israeli-Jewish school in Tel Aviv rooted in intellectual rigor, cultural grounding, and creative expression.

The Amichai curriculum is designed to meet Israeli and international standards. The Amichai school is in the process of being recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Education.
